Bancha Green Tea

A traditional green tea of Japan, Bancha is harvested from the same plant as Sencha - but from the more mature leaves and stems of autumn and winter. Similar to Houjicha, Bancha is roasted and has higher tannins and less caffeine that black teas or steamed green varietals.
