Sabro

Great flavor, refreshing

Sabro hops are really nice for a floral-forward refreshing drink without significant bitterness.

For context, I'm a long-time fan of Amarillo and Citra hops. I don't see the former as often anymore for a variety of reasons, but it has a such a great, delicate citrusy quality. And Citra, of course, brought the fresh citrus taste a different direction with a broader mouthfeel and hints of other fresh fruit while remaining in that piney Pacific Northwest character. Love it in beer. Love it in seltzer. Hoplark Citra was my go-to for a while for a refreshing drink. Which brings us to Hoplark's Sabro offering. It's now overtaken the other Hoplark offerings. It has a more robust mouthfeel. A bit more gritty character. This is the one that leaves me feeling like I had a refreshing IPA. It's a great sipping drink on it's own but also pairs well with grilled meat, tandoori chicken, spicy Thai basil chicken, pizza, you name it. I'll be sad if this is ever discontinued.

This is a light refreshing hop water, not too hoppy, more tropical hop focus, well balanced
