We may not be pinkies up fancy, but we do appreciate a good noble hop, especially for Oktoberfest. Named for the Czech (formerly Boehemia) town of Zatec, Saaz hops are most commonly used in pilsners (think Stella) for their mild hoppy notes. Raise a glass or two in honor of the season, Prost!

Pretty Solid
A good solid flavor profile on this one. While the Saaz hops are most notable for being in pilsners, I didn't get much of a "pilsner-y" taste from this one. I know I'm missing the barley and such that adds to the flavor of an actual pilsner, but I just sort of expected more of a pilsner taste. Still a good drink and was nice to actually taste what a Saaz hop tastes like.
